Talk about a slap in the face…

Going Natural Video

…or was it a rude awakening?

Maybe you should decide.

Last week a blogger had the nerve to call me out publically - I decided that maybe he was right (OUCH!).

Go watch this video and decide for yourself.

Then come back here. Take your best shot at me. Or maybe you want to tell me how great I am for giving you this killer content. ;)

I'll let you decide. The gauntlet has been dropped!

And best of all – there’s more video to come – so stay tuned.

Very cool video, I really want to see more! Hurry, hurry, times a wasting….lol

Seriously, I have been doing this quite a while and never knew how to do that…had a couple flukes, but never figured out how. Very good info, I will be watching for the next one for sure. And i have to say the video was incredibly professional and fun, it kept me listening and wanting for more.

    Thanks for the video….too cool!

    Hey Andy,
if you start making cartoons I'd probably buy them! You're a funny guy and you have the right voice ;-)

Obviously great of you to share this. It seems like a minor silo site technique which was popularised for free about 5 months ago in a pdf, by Charles wasn't it? But an interesting adaption to use the same subject to create a double listing.

We'll have to wait a week to see if it still works of course. Ooh the suspense!

Expecting a plethora of indented results, especially for male yeast infection (ask Ed) and hoping you haven't started a land slide in search positioning and we don't all get google slapped silly.

Thanks for the gaboing sound effects either way…

Wow, very informative video. Thank you * 1000 for releasing this Andy.

    A couple of comments:

    1. The video quality is amazing!! Was that done on a Mac?

    2. Did all your double's take about a week or were some longer?

    3. Could you use the same tactic if you had say an ezine article listing on page 1 of Google? I assume it would work fine.

    4. Again, the quality of the video production is super top notch, well done!

Thanks again for the VALUE you have added to the net for all to see. Also, a good hidden lesson in making lemon aid from lemons (referencing the original blog post that got you steamed).

    Glen.

p.s. Now, why do I all of a sudden have the desire to head to a Cuban resort, hehe. Nice music.

Amazing. You Stompernet guys rock. Free's good, and if that's what you give away for free, I can't imagine what I'm going to get for being a paid member.

But right now when I go to http://www.stompernet.com , I see I can't even pay you to join. How and when can I join?

Let me give you money! Please….

    Hey Andy,

You might have to create a product we can purchase showing us how you make your videos. The sounds and the graphics were fantastic.

I have to admit, I always thought that a double listing meant back-to-back listings in the search engine. More importantly, I now know how to create double listings. Thanks for the free AND doable info!

My guess is that you have a lot more info inside your brain about Authority Hub Linking. I'm sure that all of your followers and fans would like to receive this info for free. Sure you can continue giving us great, free info but for those of us who would like to go into much greater detail, why not consider creating something that we can pay for?

I enjoyed it immensely and I'm looking forward to the next one.

    Hi Andy,
First I would like to say thanks to Ryan boy did he get things moving. I really enjoyed your video, I wish mine could look that professional. I have had a couple of double listings "Dumb Luck" did not understand the benefits of them do now but. I have links to all my pages on every page through drop down menus will this work just as well as having them all on display, I have a lot of pages and my menu would take forever to read if they were all listed in a normal menu.(hope you understand that). I am going to try the things you suggested and see what happens. Will let you know.

    Hi Andy;
Yes, I am still here catching the wave. You guys are fantastic (words not discriptive enough). I was watching you guys at the beginning and as always still wishing I was inside Stompernet. My hope is that I can catch a trick or two and get the cash flow to go for the gold (inside Stompernet!). The production was first class …what else! Looking forward to more as you answered the question my partner and I have had about our site. We are coming up #1 in Google for some phrases and could not figure out how to get more than one spot in google, but as the computer stuff is logic, you did answer my question ….yes, logic ….logic ….logic …link ….link! We will work on it and thank you again. We will be watching!

I'd seen this happening but had
no clue how valuable it is to get
    a "double" listing.

Now, the first thing I did was
check a couple of my keywords in
my market - and there were ZERO
    double listings!

    Is this a bad sign?

These keywords are some of the
most searched on the internet -
is it possible for me too? =-)

    Andy,
Thank you for the work that you do and thank you for laying it out so eloquently for me. Contrary to what Ryan thinks, I personally think you give out too much information with SEO (but I take a ton of notes every time you do it). Thanks again. Can't wait to here more.

I actually asked Andy how he did this feat about 1.5 months ago on a StomperNet Faculty Conference call and let out a low 'whoooah' when he explained how to go about getting the double listing. I am secretly hoping that is was my query that lead to this great video.

My secondary page is currently in the 11th position on G and i am counting the hours before it moves underneath my number one listing. This video put the finishing touches on his answer that day and I can wait to complete the remaining 10 percent to get the double-banger. My only wish is G would allow me to push a third page…or would that be the death-knell of the double and turn it into an authority site which i would gather does not covert as well?

Andy, perhaps you can expand on the difference between double-bangers and authority listings a bit more and the genesis behind the latter.

Bravo! I must say this is so much better than the first video from the last series. (sorry but your fashion designer and I have different tastes and the Choreography well just sucked) Now don't get mad unless thats what it takes to produce another excellent video like this one!!
I too had a double listing on one of my domains but I wasn't sure why. I blew my chance to get in Stomper net when you had the $1 special. (you could do that again when Brad's out of town or just not watching) I was on dial up at the time and most of your training was in video. I sucked up as much knowledge as I could. I liked the back office and all the people involved. The team concept is kool.
I like to have fun while I learn, this video was fun, entertaining and great content! Now that you have raised the bar I can't wait for your next video. Us "Little Guys" enjoy getting knowledge when and where we can!! Thanks

Excellent video!! We're in the training video business, and I have to say that was an extremely well produced video. Great flow, visually appealing and excellent content. You can definitely tell you've got video editing/production in your background.

We've gotten some double listings for a few keywords in the past as well, and never really knew why. This certainly opens the eyes (and hopefully some doors!)

Keep up the great work, we're all looking forward to your upcoming videos, and I'm sure this will go a long way toward sprouting a new generation of Stompers!

Ok, I'm convinced that you guys know what you are doing, and that it's worth paying for. I have been following many different trails of hype, and your offering stands out from the rest.

But now I'm really puzzled… How do I join StomperNet?

    Hey Andy!

I followed the instructions in your (very cool) video and AFTER 3 DAYS I checked today and there it is! I got my double listing in Google.

To top it all off the original page had only been in google for one week prior, and now both listings (after 2 weeks) have the 1st and 2nd spot on the 2nd page of google for the key phrase I was targeting.

For another keyphrase, the new page actually beats the first one to the 1st page of google!

What can I say, how the hell do I find out more!!

I have a question. I have a lot of sites built on a template which rotates articles. I don't actually have "pages" as such. How could I adapt this technique to suit.

Please look at this sample site guys and feel free to educate me!

  82. Posted December 9, 2007 at 7:20 pm

That is a great video over there and you have a great way of speaking which keeps my concentration. What you said it does make sense, apart the fact that the traffic would double even if you are listed on the third page of results.

(Reply from Andy - Astrit what I said was that your clicks would double for that keyword that you have a listing for in Google. So, if you currently get 400 clicks for a page 2 listing, and you get an indented listing, statistics show that you would get about 800 clicks because of that listing. If you were on page 1, you'd obviously get more clicks, and even MORE clicks if you had an indented listing. Hope that makes sense. AJ)

Just a quick comment to back up the video. I'm a stompernet member, I joined a year ago. Back then I was a very inexperienced newbie.

Now every site I am involved with (I have several) makes money! All it takes is a little effort in the right place and Brad, Andy & the faculty sure give plenty of help and advice as to how, where and why!

I found something interesting , to share on this subject.

Yesterday i got sent a link to ebay gumtee the australian site.

Thought to have a look and placed a simple ad to see what might come of it !!

so i place a simple ad as below

But what i did not realise was how fast i go to the top of google with 3 simple key words

    here they are:

    Antiquitarian antiques ebay

Antiquarian The World of Antiques Collectables Auckland Nz …Antiquitarian, Antiques, old collections, antique collectables and old items on eBay.com, Buy, Sell, and Find Antique, antique furniture and antique table …
    www.gumtree.co.nz/auckland/55/17038855.html - 12k - 13 hours ago -

interesting how simply placing a tiny add can have quite amazing results.

thought to share this with you

    cheers Theo

The color schemes employed through the site are delicious and refreshing. What more could a Web20 audience ask for?

Thank you for the SEO highlight and I learned a great deal in your delightful presentation. I can see there's no reason to ask that you keep up the good work. You obviously know your calling! Your videos have been remarkable.
I have done websites before, but they were straight info types — one for original art and the others for local retail/restaurants.

We are working on our first membership site. We took Matthew Glanfield's course and it gave us a great grasp on what we needed.

Your two videos have opened new directions, understanding, and confidence. I can't thank you enough for supplying them.

If we get the site off the ground successfully, we will get back to you.

If not, my failures will have been my own, certainly not because of what people like Glanfield and you have done.

So for anyone else with the same problem - there is an icon on the right hand side of the bar at the bottom of the screen that gives you the complete playlist - makes life much simpler this way.

Thank you for the video it was great but it put a question in my mind. My header, footer and side bars are server side includes (which require a page be named shtml) except for my home page which I wanted to keep html. How do the spiders see server side includes. Even tho they reside on the site once I see in my source code the links are appearing as on the page. Any enlightenment on server side includes? Comments appreciated.

    Andy,

Awesome job on the video. Fortunately I have the good fortune of having many double listings myself but I never understood why until now.

When I checked one Eragon Swords everything jived with what you said but I couldn't find any links pointing to the second page using the link: command in Google. Do the links not necessarily have to be ones that Google will display? (I.E. perhaps someone on a forum has put a link to the second page in question)

Once again you're providing great content. I want to thank you. The information you gave us last year had a great cummulative effect and we're looking to be up 50% YTD sales over 2006

  136. Posted December 21, 2007 at 10:29 pm

I am just starting a website and I am starting to do what you guys told me to do to get a double listing. However this is hard because I am just staring out and getting inbound links will take some time.

What I found weird is that that google already gave me a double listing for a webpage within my site that I wasn't even trying for. In fact if you do a search on inbound links to my site you will get 2 results, and those results are linked to my main page, not my indented page in google.

Now granted I'm not very high in my rankings, about 61, but 61 out of over 13,000 is still pretty good. Especially for just a starting point.

To see this in action go to google and type in the search "asseenontv retail". Then go to the 7th page. You will see my site on top of that page with a double listing.

Again I have no idea how I did this. Did I someone misunderstand the steps involved to get a double listing? I thought you had to get inbound links to the indented page?

Excellent information, something that tells me the honest truth about social marketing. Time to change my thinking process and really refocus my direction of marketing online. Dam my head hurts from all the new ideas that could be possible from your information.

    Thanks so much!

I did not have time to watch this long video. I passed over the email invitation several times but finally decided to take a look. When I saw that it was going be one hour long, I was inclined to shut it off and forget about. But there was an curious aura of uniqueness that persuaded me to keep watching. WOW! What a powerful message that can be valuable to anyone who has an interest in marketing.
