[Stomping 2] Failure to launch - VERY sorry…

Hey folks,

Due to some technical problems that cropped up late today, we
were NOT able to hit our launch date and that REALLY kills me.

I've been reading the emails and checking the blog comments -
we KNOW you guys are bummed about not getting this today.

Heck, some of you are even mad - and you DESERVE to be.

My time is valuable to me, so I know yours is too.

I put up a very short video update explaining what happened
right on the main page here.

The whole staff is mobilized right now, and we'll be burning
the midnight oil until we get this working 100%.

We're rescheduling the launch for tomorrow at 2pm Eastern, so
we can quit bumping this hour by hour, and it'll let us
properly test everything.

Listen, you WON'T miss out on this deal.

So bookmark the main page here, and we'll see you tomorrow at
2pm Eastern.

Again, on behalf of ALL my Faculty and Staff - I'm very sorry
we couldn't pull this off for you today.

Talk again soon,
~Andy Jenkins

P.S. We've opened a notification list on the main page with my
video update.  IF we manage to get everything working BEFORE
2pm tomorrow, we'll let that list know.  No marketing messages
there - it's just to update you on "Stomping 2″ if you want to
know ASAP when we're ready to go.

    About Stomping the SE2…

I hung around all day, and didn't get needed things done, so as to be ready to be one of the first to order STSE2, five times today, and now you go and postpone the launch until tomorrow.

Only problem for me is that due to prior commitment I cannot be anywhere near a computer until tomorrow night.

Can I reserve a spot to get in on this in case this thing "sells" out fast, please?

I'd hate to be penalized by being left out when the problems have all been on your end…

A disappointed and anxious Net Effect subscriber wannabe (who also happens to need a copy of STSE2).

    Thanks!

I am excited for the release of Stomping 2 and don't let anyone's comments get you down…
we all have things go wrong! We just need to give and receive grace.

Hope you get it sorted and still manage to get some sleep.

Dude, look, here's my question. First I thought it was a great, great idea to give us the new video update about holding until 2:00 pm ET to ease the "Pressure", and that is great for ME as I am a night owl. But now that you guys have said that if something sooner comes up, then you'll email us to let us know. Ok well, I really do understand all that techno-gremlin stuff. Anyway, I thought "ok, 2:00 pm? COOl! Perfect for a night owl.

But if you're going to open up at say, maybe 12 noon, then that means "I have to get up really early. Like, 11:00 am!!" I'll try real hard to get up so early like that in the morning in hopes that maybe you might be open sooner? But I'm gunna be upset if I have to miss those Dave Del'dotto infomercials (oops! sorry, wrong decade)…I mean those amazingly wonderful Dave Espino internet treasure chest infomercials, well that may cause emotional trauma for me. But I'll hang in there!

So, in closing. If you open up at say 4:00 am, just call me at 1-555-big-baby ext.# "here's your tissue", so I can order and get to sleep.

Thank you for your support! (oops, another wrong decade)

    Thanks!
    Gary.

    This waiting is killing me…

And as much as I want to believe Andy that this is a technical delay, it looks like another part of product launch formula.

Don't get me wrong - I'll get in anyway :-) But all the latest launches had very similar problems - servers are down etc.

    Ohhh, 12 hours to go!(hopefully)

It's me again guys. I woke up at 6:30 am so I thought I might check in again. Then I realized! As the "Noob" that I am, I messed up on my web address clicky, thingy on my last post…you know, when you click on my name? Anyway, I was hoping you Cool Dudes would let me fix it, at least on this post. Ok, I'm really still mostly asleep, so Thanks Dudes, and see you in a few more hours.

    Gary.

Guys, I don't think you need to worry too much. I can see there's a massive buzz about this on the net! I've seen the review copy - and it's A+ material. You can be proud to put your names to this.

Amy update on when you'll get the server sorted, I am itching to get an order on!!!! Just aswell this a product that is SEO related and not server maintenance related! ;)

you know what they say, anything that can go wrong will go wrong and often does :) Anyway, the waiting continues, and Im going to work on other things. I know it will be worth the wait.

I know the waiting will be worth it.Very Tired now , been waiting in anticipation all day. Its 11.16pm here in South Africa, so I'm off to bed now and hopefully there will still be copies around in the morning for me to order.

Please make sure the little guys in Africa get a chance to learn from the masters!

Patience is a virtue and the fact that we get an opportunity to review the product is more than we could ever ask,it doesn't get any better than free to be sure you have the right product this one is a no brainer. Andy you and Brad are great and we know you will come through as always.

  11. Posted September 4, 2008 at 3:35 pm

Untill I saw you had server problems I thought that this whole waiting thing was somekind of crazy new test you were running to test conversions or something… he he

Ok, Thursday 2pm has also passed now, I believe, so I guess we'll just have to wait and hopefully you guys get it sorted out soon:)

Actually this is making me feel better about our business. We had a major meltdown with our email client server a year ago. Took us 36 hours to fix (and we're good). Our lives was not worth living according to our clients during that 36 hours and our paranoia levels run high as we triple check everything well in advance of needing it. I'm just glad this stuff happens to somebody else also.

I wouldn't want to be within 100 yards of Andy about now.

However long you have to wait…Stomper stuff is worth it!

    Legends are made like this…..

  15. Posted September 4, 2008 at 6:06 pm

I to have been chomping at the bit to get my hands on this product. However, I also realize that sh** happens.

It is now four hours past the revised launch. I am sure there is no one at Stompernet who has had more than a cat nap since yesterday.

No problem. When it arrives, I am sure we will get our hands on it. Made all the easier because small minded people, will have lost patience, freeing up the initial supply for the rest of us.

Now with that said, I do hope I can order this before I call it a night today.

  16. Posted September 4, 2008 at 6:21 pm

Woo hoo - soft launch is upon us… I just returned from the order page and am probably one of the first to get my copy of stse2 - can't wait… thanks guys!

No complaints from me on the (unintended) server issues…

  17. Posted September 4, 2008 at 7:04 pm

Ok, it must have been a fluke. I went back in and ordered and everything went fine! I can't wait to get these materials and get to work on them. Thank you!

    Question:

Does it matter if you have a service or Physical product?

It was stated on the order page that the information was derived from seo for physical products that you were marketing. I'm thinking with SEO it doesn't matter.

I sell services can you please tell me if your courses will be helpful for me.

SEO will work as long as your business would be found by searchers using specific keywords. StomperNet counts many, many service professionals among our member-clients. -ed.

    Is the order page open????

Where do I go , I been asleep until 15mins ago. Please redirect me to the order page

  20. Posted September 4, 2008 at 11:50 pm

Got a mail to say the orders are now open , but the link takes me to the pre -launch video , is this correct , and do I have to watch through the entire video to get to the order page?

This is the link to the order page - if you're seeing the old video there, maybe you have it cached. Try using Ctrl+F5 to do a full refresh. The order page IS up and is working as I write this. -ed.
